High Tensile Washers
WASCA™ High Tensile Washer ASTMF436:2009
Hardened or High-Tensile washers are used with High-Tensile nuts and bolts and are primarily used in high performance bolted conditions, where safety and secure connections are required. They exhibit the same qualities as ordinary flat washers, but are thicker with larger diameters for spreading the load over a greater area, are hardened and tempered and when combining a small amount of lubrication when tightening, prevent galling and damage to the surfaces being clamped. They are very suitable for all spacing applications. WASCA Hardened Washers are based on ASTM:F436/F436M standards and also have a small range in ISO standards.
