PTFE or Teflon is a fluoropolymer with a vast amount of applications such as containers and pipewrok for reactive and corrosive chemicals.

As a lubricant, PTFE reduces fristion, wear and energy consumption of machinery. With one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid it is exceptional for non-stock applications being a coating.
